Catmint's tenacity, color, and durability makes it a staple in Midwestern gardens. Plants are covered in soft, fragrant, gray-green leaves all summer long and spikes of pink flowers seem to remain indefinitely. Catmint is extremely hardy; tolerating drought, poor soils, air pollution, grazing deer, insects, diseases, rocky soils, etc. This cultivar forms nice mounded clumps and looks great when massed in borders, edging, or used in rock gardens. Whispurr™ Pink was selected for its long bloom period and long wands of pink flowers.
