Threadleaf coreopsis is one of our most popular choices for Midwest gardens because of its length of bloom, hardiness, and vigor. Plants thrive on neglect and are at home in poor soils; tolerating drought, heat, and humidity. 'Zagreb' has cheery, bright yellow daisy-like flowers that cover the plants through the summer like a mist and are held above thread-like dark green foliage. Coreopsis is virtually disease and insect resistant and is not palatable to deer. Looks best when massed or left to naturalize and makes great accent plants for the rock garden.
