Dwarf fountain grass is a smaller clump forming grass that has narrow medium green blades that give rise to bristly reddish-bronze seed heads that cover the compact mound in late summer. 'Ginger Love' is an excellent cultivar that was selcted for its site tolerance (drought, wet, and eroison tolerant) and dark colored blooms. It is very low maintenance and has a showy golden fall color that turns sandy colored by winter. Foliage and seed heads can be left in the winter for texture.
