Korean burnet is an underused clump-forming perennial that adds a splash of color to the border. 'Little Angel' has small, variegated scalloped leaves that seem to delicately cling on to the wiry stems and from summer to fall are covered in little oval, burgundy flower clusters that are reminiscent of matchstick heads. Burnet does best in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade and will benefit from a layer of mulch. They have little to no disease/insect issues and deer and rabbits often avoid them.
