Pacific Sunset® is a hybrid maple that has glossy planetree-like leaves and prized for its adaptability to urban conditions. Dark green, glossy leaves cover the rounded tree throughout the growing season before turning yellow, orange, and red in autumn. Pacific Sunset® maples are very tolerant of drought, heat, humidity, site conditions, and pollution, making them the perfect Midwestern medium-sized shade tree for parks and other urban areas. They are known to have finer branch structure than other maple species adding to landscape interest.
