'Purple Prince' crabapple is a rounded tree that, in the spring, is covered in fragrant deep magenta pink flowers that give way to fruits that mature to bright purple in autumn. Foliage is a beautiful purplish bronze-green in spring and changes to medium green by summer and then to a golden color in autumn. Overall, crabapples prefer well-drained, average soils in full sun and can be more tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions in maturity. Attracts wildlife.
