Russian sage is one of the easiest to grow perennials. They need very little care and thrive in heat/humidity and poor soils. In late summer, the plant is covered in small spires of bluish-purple flowers that are aromatic. Foliage is a beautiful grey-green and finely cut. Russian sage attracts pollinators and butterflies and rarely has any disease issues or insect pressures. Plants thrive in full sun in well-drained soils. 'Little Spire' was selected for its compact, smaller habit.
