Catmint's tenacity, color, and durability makes it a staple in Midwestern gardens. Plants are covered in soft, fragrant, gray-green leaves all season long and spikes of blue flowers seem to remain indefinitely. Catmint is extremely hardy; tolerating drought, poor soils, air pollution, grazing deer, insects, diseases, rocky soils, etc. 'Cat's Meow' forms nice mounded clumps and looks great when massed in borders, edging, or used in rock gardens. It was also selected as a stand out cultivar as it doesn't get wild looking like older cultivars on the market.
