'Rozanne' cranesbill is one of the bluest flowers found in Midwestern gardens. It is an easy to care for perennial; requiring full sun to part shade and well-drained soils (thought it does prefer to be moist). Plants are recognized by their semi-evergreen, dark green notched leaves (reddish-purple in autumn) on long stolon-like stems that give way to saucer-shaped blue flowers in spring/summer that just seem to glow. When planted in mass, plants make an excellent ground cover for full sun. Rabbit and deer resistant and no pest or disease concerns. Attracts butterflies. 2008 Perennial Plant of the Year.
