Installation
Installation charges are based on plant size, quantity, location, and access for machinery. To get an accurate quote for installation, please provide the following information:
- Is the area enclosed by a fence? If so, what size is the gate for access?
- Is the tree/shrub being installed in a turf area? In a rock bed?
- Is this tree/shrub being installed in an area where a previous tree/shrub has been installed? Have the roots and/or dead plant been removed where the new tree/shrub is being installed?
- Are there any other site conditions that may require hand planting, such as steep grades, extremely wet areas, septic laterals, etc.
TimberPine is not responsible for any potential damage to customer’s yard by heavy equipment used for planting. Precautions will be taken to avoid any tracks or ruts by machinery, but drainage and moisture levels at your site may result in some minor disturbances
Responsibilities of the Homeowner
Prior to planting, TimberPine will call Iowa One Call to have your utilities located. Typically this notifies applicable water, electric, cable, telephone and natural gas services. Make sure that your flags are in the yard prior to the locators coming to your yard. Leave flags and/or marking paint visible so our crews maintain a safe distance from these hazards.
Any other underground utilities or obstructions are the responsibility of the homeowner to mark. This includes private water lines, lp gas lines, private electric, septic system laterals, landscape lighting, irrigation, underground dog fence, etc. that the landowner may or may not be aware of on their property. Any repairs to these items not marked by the homeowner will be the responsibility of the homeowner. TimberPine will fix hits to landscape lighting, irrigation and underground dog fence at the owner's request and will bill time and materials. Irrigation mainlines can be located for a $75 fee, however lateral lines feeding from the mainline can not be located.
