Leopard plant is an underused shade perennial with bright colored flowers and large, rounded leaves that makes a statement in the back border. 'Britt-Marie Crawford' was selected for its large, dark purple, slightly kidney-shaped leaves that, in the summer, are accented by large clusters of golden-orange daisy-like flowers that rise above the leaves. Plants prefer moist to wet soils in shade and benefit from a thick layer of mulch. Plants may wilt in excessive heat.
