Native to rocky outcroppings in the Oklahoma and Texas areas, this tough, warm-season grass sparkles in parts of the garden where other things struggle. It is characterized by fine, dark green leaf blades that are adorned in fluffy pink flower heads in late summer. Undaunted® muhly grass was chosen for its good cold/heat hardiness in northern ranges and stays neat and compact. Muhly grass does best in alkaline, rocky, well-drained soils in full sun and shows exceptional drought tolerance. No major disease or insect issues and is deer resistant. Flower heads make good cut flowers.
