'Tina' sargent crabapple has a dense, spreading rounded habit that, in the spring, is covered in pinkish red buds that open to fragrant, white flowers. Fruits soon follow and mature to bright red by autumn and can persist into the winter. Leaves are a bright green color throughout the growing season. This is an excellent cultivar choice for containers, small spaces, and any other spot where a dwarf tree is needed. Overall, crabapples prefer well-drained, average soils in full sun and can be more tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions in maturity. Attracts wildlife.
Disease resistance: Mildew, scab, & cedar apple rust = excellent; Fireblight = good
