'Hetz Midget' is a good option for a specimen or foundation plant; maturing to a dwarf globe of blue-green scaly foliage. It can be tolerant of most soils, however it is at home in moist, well-draining soils and does not like being dry. Does best in a wind-protected site. Also does well in rock gardens where water can drain freely.
