A standard arborvitae cultivar since 1951, this introduction out of Denmark is prized for its bright green scale-like foliage and pyramidal shape. It is a slower growing arborvitae, however it retains its color well through the winter if placed in a protected area. It can be tolerant of most soils, however it is at home in moist, well-draining soils and does not like being dry. Does best in a wind-protected site. Perfect for specimen planting, borders, or in rock gardens.
