This low growing, clump forming grass is perfect as a groundcover under trees or in full sun areas. Thin slender medium green blades give rise to clusters of seed heads in early fall; hence the common name. Autumn moor grass is very tolerant of multiple site conditions including drought, black walnuts, and clay soils. Does not like intense heat or humidity.
