Ruby Tears™ crabapple has an elegant weeping form that, in the spring, is covered in mauve pink flowers that give way to fruits that mature to bright red in autumn. Foliage is a wonderful purplish-green color throughout the growing season. Due to its smaller size, it makes an excellent selection for small spaces, containers, or specimens near the house. Overall, crabapples prefer well-drained, average soils in full sun and can be more tolerant of a wide range of growing conditions in maturity. Attracts wildlife.
