Showy stonecrop is the perfect carefree perennial for adding color to the fall landscape. 'Neon' has flat tufts of neon pink flowers that shadow the succulent-like leaves beneath, starting in late August and continues blooming until frost. The flower heads attract butterflies and other beneficial pollinators as well. Showy stonecrop does best in full sun in average, well-drained soils but will tolerate drought, rocky soils, and dry conditions. It is also relatively insect and disease resistant. Formerly known as Sedum spectabile.
