A carpet of tiny white flowers all summer long, snow-in-summer is best suited for sunny areas where it can creep along the surface. Its fuzzy grey-green leaves add good contrast to the summer flowers and is semi-evergreen in Iowa. It does best in dry or chalky, well-drained soils where it is considered drought tolerant. 'Yo Yo' was selected for its compact, less aggressive, slower spreading behavior.
