Regal Prince® oak is an excellent choice for tight spaces! This very formal, upright oak was selected for its form, terrific cold hardiness, bold dark green coloring, and better disease/insect resistance. It prefers a site in full sun with well-drained soil, and can tolerate wet or dry soils and is considered drought tolerant. Leaves are dark green and lighter green underneath and are characterized by several lobes along the leaf edge. Puts out attractive acorns through the growing season. When massed together, Regal Prince® makes an excellent screen or hedge row.
