Catmint's tenacity, color, and durability makes it a staple in Midwestern gardens. Plants are covered in soft, fragrant, gray-green leaves all season long and spikes of blue flowers seem to remain indefinitely. Catmint is extremely hardy; tolerating drought, poor soils, air pollution, grazing deer, insects, diseases, rocky soils, etc. This cultivar is sterile, meaning it will not reseed but instead forms nice mounded clumps and looks great when massed in borders, edging, or used in rock gardens. Junior Walker™ is a dwarf catmint that was selected from a sport of 'Walker's Low'.
